Robots!

Third grade is practicing painting and they are painting Robots!  Who doesn't love Robots?

The objective for the students is to learn about shadows, highlights and value.  All robots will be gray to symbolize metal.  They will also have a highlight and a shadow using only white and blue. I am also showing them how to slightly change the body to create a more 3-D shape which they love!

So far,  the robots are drawn and most have been painted a shade of gray and when we return from our winter break the highlights and shadows will be added.
