First the students painted their backgrounds with watercolors. Then they looked at real buildings to get inspiration for their own artwork. They were to draw 3 buildings next to each other and then draw the sketch onto the foam.
Once they drew their buildings onto the foam they were to cut out the silhouette of the buildings, leaving the buildings connected at the bottom. This was the difficult part for some.
Then they inked the foam and printed on the sky. Once that was done they rotated the buildings to print in the water. They didn't re-ink the foam so that it would give the blurry look of a water reflection. Awesome! I am very happy with these! I can't wait to hang them up!
